Sam Crouse leads large scale culture change efforts, process improvement and training programs in private, public, and non-profit sectors. His highly engaging methods ensure understanding, application and demonstrated results tailored to clients’ goals and objectives. Sam is a former career military officer with an extensive background in highly demanding aviation, training, leadership and change management positions. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Masters from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. As a USAF command mission pilot, he flew U-2 high-altitude reconnaissance missions, B-52 missions and served as a primary jet flight instructor (T-37) and advanced jet flight instructor (T-38). He also held director level positions in special operations, developmental testing, education, quality implementation, safety, business operations and intelligence, and security. Sam has led Lean Six Sigma projects with international clients, worked DoD special projects acquisition efforts, was certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

After his military career, he flew as an airline pilot for four years then entered the consulting field supporting the USN acquisition community holding high level government clearances. He returned to the aviation field as an airline pilot and is now engaged with private sector clients and advising on research projects. He has nearly four decades of experience in military and civilian aircraft along with safety and business experience running 33 flying clubs and schools around the world. Sam is an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with international (B-747) and domestic flying experience (B-737-800, DC-9, Fokker-100 and Airbus 320), a Certificated Flight Instrument Instructor (CFII) and a Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI). He has flown nearly 30 different aircraft and is a member of the Fraternal Order of Military Pilots and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.  Sam’s areas of expertise are organizational development, training, process improvement, protection of sensitive information, and high-performance team development.  Sam is trained and licensed to administer a number of psychometric instruments and is available for consulting challenges world-wide.
